| Student Code of Conduct |
|
Attendance On campus students are expected to attend all the classes for the subject(s) in which they are enrolled. An excused absence is only granted to a student due to illness or unavoidable circumstances. Unexcused absence from more than a third of the classes for a subject will result in forfeitures of all credits for that subject. An exception to this rule may be made if the instructor feels the absences are due to acceptable reasons, and if the student is able to satisfy the requirements for that subject under the instructor’s guidelines. Granting or refusing this privilege will be up to the individual course instructor. Tardiness All Students are required to be in class on time. Students who are not present at the beginning of class when roll is taken are considered to be absent for that class period. Dress Code In order that we can prepare ourselves for the attitude of ministry, we ask that you comply with a dress code. Students are asked to wear attire that is considered to be appropriate for the adult Christian classroom setting (no shorts, tank tops, etc.). Modesty is encouraged. Deportment C.T.T.C. students are expected to conduct themselves in a Christ-like manner at all times. Remember, as a C.T.T.C. student, you are already a leader. Whether in class or away from school; you are still a representative of C.T.T.C. Instructors should at all times be treated with the utmost dignity and respect. Students are not expected to agree with everything that will be taught by the various instructors. The student should listen as openly as possible realizing that there is diversity in the church and there is much that one can learn from others. Disrespectful treatment of an instructor is cause for temporary dismissal from class and, if continued, can result in expulsion from the C.T.T.C. program. Worship Each C.T.T.C. student is expected to be faithful in attendance in his/her local church. Students should attend all the services of the general body of their local church and be accountable to their local pastor. Each C.T.T.C. student should be actively involved in an approved ministry of his/her local church. Because |
